Guillermo Del Toro wants to Remake ‘Van Helsing’

Now that Guillermo Del Toro is not working on ‘The Hobbit’, his next film could be a new ‘Van Helsing’ movie for Universal Pictures. The film won’t be a sequel to the Hugh Jackman version, although it will be based off of the same fictional vampire hunter character from ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’. The film is already set to be developed Del Toro’s production company off a treatment that Del Toro wrote himself. Del Toro’s take on the story is said to be “action horror.”
