Weekend Box Office Report: July 23rd – 25th

In its second week, Christopher Nolan’s Inception held onto the #1 spot at the box office with $43.5 million. Opening in #2 this weekend was Angelina Jolie’s spy thriller Salt with $36.5 million. Slipping a spot to #3 in its third week is Despicable Me with $24.1 million. Nicolas Cage’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice took #4 bringing in $9.7 million.
Toy Story 3 stayed at #5 in its sixth weekend with $9 million.
