Sam Worthington to Play Dan Dare

According to reports, Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans) is attached to star in ‘Dan Dare’. Dan Dare first appeared in the comics back in 1950, and was the story of a gallant chief pilot of the Interplanet Space Fleet. The timeframe of the story was set in 1990, with stories centering on planets presumed to have extraterrestrial life. Many have said that Dan Dare was the British equivalent of Buck Rogers.
