2019 Oscar Predictions: From ‘Roma’ to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ – FanBolt’s 2019 Oscar Picks
This award season is finally coming to a close with tomorrow night’s main event – the 2019 Oscars. This season has been hard to predict as there haven’t been any front runners, and there has been no shortage of controversy (and let’s be honest, bad decisions) made around this year’s awards.
While this year is more difficult to predict than previous years, we still believe that Alfonso Cuarón’s beautiful black and white film, Roma, is the front-runner for the evening. If it does take Best Picture, it will be the first foreign language film to win the category at the Academy Awards – not to mention the first film to win that was distrubed by an OTT streaming service such as Netflix.
FanBolt film critic Mike McKinney is pretty good at predicting who will win the Oscars, and these picks below are his 2019 Oscar predictions. Let us know your picks for the night in the comment section below!
