Netflix Releases New ‘Stranger Things 3’ Trailer and We’re Geeking Out Over It!

Stranger Things

By the look of the new Stranger Things Season 3 trailer, our favorite kids aren’t kids anymore – they’re teens, and they don’t seem to be playing board games anymore.

Since Stranger Things Season 2 was released in 2017, we’ve been waiting ever so patiently for more episodes. Two years have now passed, and finally, we have a taste for what to expect for Season 3. From The Who’s famous song “Baba O’Riley”, one thing we know is that we are in for some serious changes in Season 3.

What We Know From The Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer

Unlike Season 1 and Season 2 of Stranger Things, Season 3 will take place in the summer in Hawkins, Indiana. In the above trailer, we see Billy (Dacre Montogomery) as a lifeguard and Eleven living almost a normal life if you ignore the monsters from the upside down.

The kids aren’t the only ones who have grown up; it seems like the Upside Down monsters have as well. The Demogorgons, or whatever their new names might be, look absolutely terrifying in the new trailer. And the cast has also confirmed the shift in this upcoming season. In an interview with MTV, Natalia Dryer, who portrays Nancy Wheeler, says, “it does feel bigger, darker, scarier.”

“We’re not kids anymore.” Finn Wolfhard’s character, Mike, says in the trailer – which is sad but undeniable. Unfortunately for all of us, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) are growing up. While this is bittersweet, this also means we start a whole new chapter for the series. And as a result, new possibilities open up.
