Tony Scott May Direct ‘The Associate’

Tony Scott is rumored to be in final talks to direct ‘The Associate’. The film will be based on the John Grisham novel of the same name.

The story is a conspiracy thriller that follows a young lawyer who is blackmailed into working at a high-profile firm. From the inside, the lawyer is forced to pass along secrets to a mysterious defense contractor.

Shia LaBeouf is set to star in the film which is due out in 2012.
