‘Avengers: Endgame’ Gives Our Heroes the Chance to ‘Take It All Back’

One of the only true things that fans of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame knows is that this film… is a giant unknown. At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, we saw some of our favorite heroes turn to dust at the snap of Thanos’ evil fingers. His attempt at balancing the scale took the lives of Bucky Barnes, T’Challa, Spider-Man, Groot, and Scarlet Witch – just to name a few.

Looking back at the snap, Bucky’s loss hits us the hardest. So when we saw a new teaser trailer on Twitter today, our heartstrings were pulled – quite tightly – when we saw his smiling face again next to Steve Rogers.

Steve Rogers, his almost lifelong pal and the one person who could try to pull him out of the torture and mind control he suffered at the hands of another evil the Avengers have faced. Their bond is unbreakable…but it’s currently severed. One of our biggest questions now is…where do they go from here?

That question goes far beyond just Bucky and Steve. It’s the question we’re wondering for all of our heroes – those that survived the snap – and their friends and loved ones. How do you survive a loss that heartbreaking? How do you continue to fight when the only ones who truly understand the battle are gone?

The flashes of our lost heroes in this trailer will make you feel all of the emotions, and we think that’s exactly what we’re supposed to be doing right now. No trying to figure out what it’s going to take, no trying to sift through ‘leaks’ or figuring out the plot of the film. We’re just enjoying the idea that they might have the chance to take it all back and that there would be some heartwarming reunions in the process. That we might see the smiles of some of our favorite heroes once more.
