Weekend Box Office Report: August 6th – 8th, 2010

The Will Farrell/Mark Wahlberg action-comedy The Other Guys took #1 at the box office in its opening weekend earning $35.6 million. Inception slipped to #2 with $18.6 million. Step Up 3D opened at #3 with $15.5 million. Angelina Jolie’s Salt dropped to #4 in its third weekend with $11.1 million. Steve Carrel’s comedy Dinner for Schmucks dropped three spots to #5 in its second weekend, bringing in $10.5 million.
