3D ‘Tarzan’ in the Works

Constantin Film, a German company, is developing a 3D animated ‘Tarzan’ movie. Constantin acquired animation rights to the ‘Tarzan’ novels from the estate of author Edgar Rice Burroughs.

The producers, Robert Kulzer and Reinhard Klooss, are currently working on 3D projects ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’, ‘The Three Musketeers’ and the CGI ‘Animals United’. Ambient Entertainment, the animators behind ‘Animals United’, will also work on the project.

Disney did the last animated ‘Tarzan’ flick in 1999 and have been working for years on a live action version.
