Altiplano (NR), Drama – A former war photographer and her physician husband are caught up in a riot when locals in an Andean village vent their unhappiness with contamination from a nearby mine.

Down Terrace (R), Comedy – The body count rises and father-and-son crime kingpins try to uncover the identity of a traitor in their midst. Stars Robert Hill and Robin Hill.

Hiding Divya (NR), Drama – As a young woman’s husband abands her and their three-year-old daughter and the family disowns her after accusing her of having “bad blood.”Rather than remain a pariah, she summons the strength to take her daughter to America where she falls deeply in love with an Americanwho not only becomes a surrogate father but also cares for her during her bipolar episodes.

Lottery Ticket (PG-13), A young man living in the projects wins $370 million in a nationwide lottery. When his opportunistic neighbors discover he has the winning ticket in his possession he must survive their greedy and sometimes even threatening actions over a three-day holiday weekend before he can claim his prize. Stars Bow Wow, Ice Cube, and Loretta Devine.

Mao’s Last Dancer (PG), Drama – The true-life story of Chinese dancer Li Cunxin and his defection to the US and subsequent life in Australia. Stars Kyle MacLachlan, Bruce Greenwood and Joan Chen.

Nanny McPhee Returns (PG), Family – Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a harried young mother who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war. But once she’s arrived, Nanny McPhee discovers that the children are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled city cousins who have just moved in and refuse to leave. Stars Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Ralph Fiennes.

Piranha 3D (R), Horror – After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents. Stars Elizabeth Shue, Jerry O’Connell and Ving Rhames.

Soul Kitchen (NR), Comedy – A chef unknowingly disturbs the peace in his locals-only restaurant by hiring a more talented chef.

The Switch (PG-13), Comedy – A neurotic and insecure man finds out his best friend wants to have a child through artificial insemination. He surreptitiously replaces her donor’s semen with his own and is then forced to live with the secret that he is the child’s real father. Stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and Jeff Goldblum.

The Tillman Story (R), Documentary – A documentary about the cover-up of the friendly-fire death of Pat Tilman, the NFL player who joined the Army Ranger after the 9/11 attacks.

What If… (PG), Drama – Fifteen years ago a man left his girlfriend and his ministry calling for a business opportunity. Now with a high-paying career and a trophy fiancé, he is visited by an angel who gives him a glimpse into what his life would look like had he followed his calling. Stars Dallas Jenkins.
