Weekend Box Office Report: August 20th – 22nd, 2010

The Expendables spent a second week at the #1 spot of the box office this weekend, bringing in $16.5. Opening in the #2 spot was the Jason Friedberg/Aaron Seltzer parody film Vampires Suck. It brought in $12.2 million in its first opening weekend. Dropping from #2 to #3 was the Julia Roberts drama Eat Pray Love. It brought in $12 million in its second week. The comedy Lottery Ticket opened at #4, bringing in $11.1 million. In its third weekend, The Other Guys fell from #3 to #5 bringing in $10.1 million.
