‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ Is on a Whole Other Level

Sony has just released the trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level which is the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and the fourth film in the franchise. The sequel jumps right back into the game after everyone comes over to find Spencer, played by Alex Wolff, missing and the Jumanji video game on. Realizing that he is trapped in the game, his friends quickly go in to save him.

Nothing is ever as it seems in the game, but there is one significant change in this sequel. Not everyone is the same character that they were in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Instead of Wolff’s character playing as Dr. Braverstone, who is portrayed by Dwyane Johnson, it will be Danny Devito. Yes, I repeat, The Rock is pretty much playing Danny Devito, or Danny Devito is playing him. Either way, this is either a huge mess or a huge laugh. I’m leaning towards laugh, but only time will tell.
