Alexis Bledel To Play Young Assasin In ‘Violet And Daisy’

Alexis Bledel, best known for her role as Rory on ‘Gilmore Girls’ and her filmic turns in ‘Sin City’ and ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’, has officially joined the cast of ‘Violet and Daisy’, Geoffrey Fletcher’s story of teen assassins.

Bledel will star alongside Saoirse Ronan (‘Atonement’, ‘City of Ember’) as a pair of young assassins whose assistant proves to be much more involved than they had initially planned.

James Gandolfini is also attached to star. ‘Violet and Daisy’ will mark Fletcher’s first directing gig. Fletcher is best known for his recent Academy Award winning adaption of ‘Precious: Based on the Novel “Push”‘ by Sapphire.
