Warner Bros. Making Live-Action ‘Pinocchio’

Warner Bros. Pictures is developing a live-action Pinocchio feature with producer Dan Jinks. Bryan Fuller will write the script.

Jinks states in a recent interview with Variety that he was inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland to begin work on a new version of Pinocchio. “I think we’ve found a fresh approach that’s going to be very entertaining,” he said.

The tale has been told and shown in many ways, so I’m excited to see just how entertaining this new approach is!
