Bill Oberst, Jr. Talks ‘Devil’s Junction’

Dummies, dumb teens, and horror tropes galore are what is promised in ‘Devils Junction’. The real driving force behind this film isn’t just the typical genre charm, but character actor Bill Oberst, Jr. Joined by another horror favorite, Bill Mosley, Oberst stars as the fiendish Mr. Jolly, a man who hasn’t let go of his former glory as a children’s show host.

Mr. Oberst and I sat down for a lengthy conversation about the meaning of cinema and the therapeutic nature of chewing scenery.  Check it out below!

‘Devils Junction’ will be available just after Halloween via VOD and DVD release on November 5th.

Synopsis:

Returning to the abandoned Detroit television station where they once delighted a generation of children viewers, master puppeteer Mister Jolly re-incarnates his minion puppets for a final performance to settle an old score with Richard. The rare blood moon casts an ominous glow as Mr. Jolly unleashes his puppets, lead by the infamous Handy Dandy to seek his revenge. Further complicating Richard’s dilemma is the unexpected arrival to the Studio of his son Steffen and his friends. The group becomes entangled in the thrilling pursuit by Mr. Jolly and Handy Dandy through the annuls of the old studio building. They soon realize that they are in a new version of “Mister Jolly and the Handy Dandy Show” -where pain is the game!
