‘Harry Potter’ Star Stan Yanevski Talks Leaky Con, Fandom, and Tattoos

When I attended Leaky Con a few weeks ago, little did I know how much my Gryffindor pride would change! As a self-proclaimed and unashamed Potterhead, I traveled to Boston in hopes of meeting some of the most influential Harry Potter influencers, dance with the Potter Puppet Pals, and hang out with a few Wizarding World fan-favorites – then I passed by none other than Stan Yanevski aka Viktor Krum, and now, I definitely a Durmstrang groupie.

Humble, handsome, and full of self-care inspiration, Stan should be your new international internet boyfriend. A lot has transpired over the years for the Bulgaria-based actor, but one thing is for sure, he never gets tired of his Harry Potter heritage and meeting his fans all over the world.

I was happy to hear he is still acting and has been hitting the action film scene with the focus only a Quidditch seeker could truly muster, as he has a few new projects coming out in 2020.

Since Goblet of Fire Stan has traded in his broomstick for dumbbells, which you can see on his verified Instagram, doing pull-ups while providing inspiration that looking good, feeling good, and living a healthy lifestyle is the key to a happy life.

I couldn’t help but gush over his tattoos. He’s covered in ink, and he was forthcoming in sharing his artistic process when choosing what he puts on his body. After I blushed profusely for 15 minutes, we ended the interview. But I did ask him one more thing… what would people be surprised to know about him? His answer? That he’s single.
