Gore Verbinski May Direct ‘The Lone Ranger’

Gore Verbinski is in talks to direct ‘The Lone Ranger’. While there’s no start date set for the film, it is likely to be Verbinski’s next film once he finishes the animated ‘Rango’. ‘The Lone Ranger’ would reunite the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ trio of Verbinski, Johnny Depp and Jerry Bruckheimer, since Bruckheimer is producing and Depp is starring as Tonto.
