Weekend Box Office Report: October 8th – 11th, 2010

The Social Network held onto the top spot at the box office this weekend bringing in $15.5 million. Life As We Know It opened at the #2 spot, bringing in $14.6 million. The Diane Lane horse racing drama Secretariat opened at #3. It brought in $12.6 million. Legends of the Guardian: The Owls of Ga’Hoole dropped two spots to #4 in its third weekend with $7.0 million. Wes Craven’s first foray into 3D horror, My Soul To Take, opened at #5. It brought in $6.9 million in its first weekend.
