Weekend Box Office Report: October 15th – 17th, 2010
Jackass 3-D won the box office this weekend bringing in a $50 million dollar opening weekend. The action-comedy Red opened in the #2 spot at the box office with a better-than-expected $22.5 million. The Social Network dropped to #3 in its third weekend grossing $11 million. The Diane Lane drama Secretariat dropped one spot to #4 bringing in $9.5 million in its second weekend. Life As We Know It fell three spots to #5 in its second weekend with $9.2 million.
