The trailer for the Fast & Furious 9, or F9, finally dropped today! And they didn’t just release the trailer -- they had a big concert event to celebrate it! Yes, a whole concert with a red carpet!
We don’t generally see the fanfare of a concert for the release of a trailer. In fact, I’m not sure it’s ever been done before? But the movie’s main cast was all present, and there were multiple performances by Wiz Khalifa, Cardi B, Charlie Puth, Ozuna, and of course, Ludacris.
The event was live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and the official Fast site. You can watch the performances, the cast, and the trailer on any of the live stream platforms (or in the video we have at the bottom of this article).
Or if you’re just looking for the Fast and Furious 9 trailer -- you can check that out below!
Fast and Furious 9 Trailer
The franchise left off with 2017’s Fate and the Furious with the kidnapping of Dominic Toretto’s son and his mother by Charlize Theron’s character, Ciphen. The son survives and Cipher is taken down by Toretto and his team, but Cipher doesn’t die there. She is said to be returning in F9.
Justin Lin will be returning as director, along with the main cast Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster, and Hellen Mirren. John Cena and Cardi B will also be joining the cast for an exciting -- and probably hilarious -- new film.
