‘The Shield’ Creator To Write Script For ‘Without Remorse’

‘The Shield’ creator Shawn Ryan has signed on to write the script for an upcoming Paramount book-to-movie adaption entitled ‘Without Remorse’.

The movie will be based on Tom Clancy’s 1993 best-seller about former Navy SEAL and CIA operative John Kelly, code-named Mr. Clark, who first appeared in 1994’s Clear and Present Danger (played by Willem Dafoe).

No word on when production will begin. In the meantime, Ryan is currently executive producing the new FX series “Terriers”.
