Upcoming ‘Piranha 3D’ Sequel Adapts A ‘Shallow’ Name

A follow-up to the film Piranha 3D was quickly announced a few days after the film’s release in August, and clearly this time around the ‘shallowness’ of the franchise gets even more shallow [is that possible?]

The name? Piranha 3DD. Females I’m sure automatically recognize the clear meaning here – but for guys, they’re talking about bra size. Yup, they went that unoriginal with the name. I’m sure you’re not all wondering what the film is possibly going to no doubt feature now?

The first film, made for $24 million, earned $65 million at the worldwide box office. No word yet on whether production has begun.
