HBO Max just dropped their first-ever teaser trailer, and it did not disappoint!
If you’re not familiar with HBO Max, it is a new streaming service stemming from Warner Bros. The service is launching in May 2020, so prepare your wallets! It’s another streaming service you’re going to want to add to your monthly budget. (Seems like this is getting just as costly as cable doesn’t it?)
HBO Max will feature some of your favorite shows, movies, original series, and even some exciting spin-offs (*cough* Game of Thrones *cough*) that you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
What Can We Expect?
The platform already has around 10,000 hours of content ready to launch! There will be stuff from the world of DC Comics, Warner Bros, New Line, TNT, Cartoon Network, truTV, TBS, Turner Classic Movies, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, CNN, Rooster Teeth, Looney Tunes, and much, much more.
What Movies and TV Series Will Be Coming to the Service?
The teaser scrolls through glimpses at just some of the series that are coming to the streaming service. However, it does not feature any new programs that are coming (looking for that first glimpse at the GOT series, am I right? We are too…)
As far as existing shows that will be featured -- they have the rights to huge TV shows such as Friends, Big Bang Theory, South Park, and many, many more. On the film side, they will have Joker, Wonder Woman, Crazy, Rich Asians, The Matrix, and hundreds more.
As the teaser flashes through some of the more prominent and well-known series and movies heading to the platform, it states that, for the first time, it’s bringing together the “characters,” “moments,” and “worlds.” It ends with the new motto, “Where HBO meets so much more.”
You’ll be able to use the streaming service for $14.99 this May! Excited for it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
