HBO’s ‘Westworld’ Renewed for Season 4

Fans of Westworld are thrilled today as it was revealed that the series is getting a fourth season. HBO programming president, Casey Bloys, announced the renewal of Westworld in a statement Wednesday.

“From the Western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”

The announcement comes just weeks after Season 3 premiered on March 15th. The third season consists of 8 episodes, the last of which will air on May 3rd.

The premise for Season 3, from HBO’s Westworld webpage, is as follows.

Follow the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin in this dark odyssey that begins in a world where every human appetite can be indulged. Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe and Scott Mescudi join Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris and more for the upcoming third season, which will explore questions about the nature of our reality, free will and what makes us human.

There is no premiere date for Season 4. With production halted on many shows, we don’t anticipate one coming anytime soon. When more information is released, we’ll have it for you! Until then, you can watch previous episodes of Westworld and catch up with Season 3 before the finale.
