‘The 100’ 5.04 Recap and Review: Pandora’s Box

Christine Cenon 0
Well, Pandora’s box was definitely opened, and there were betrayals inside. But there were also reunions – SO MANY REUNIONS – and … new pairings!? To say that this week’s episode of The 100 was mind-blowing is an understatement. From the first scene to the last, I cried, flailed, and screamed, and repeated the three […]

‘The 100’ 5.03 Recap and Review: Sleeping Giants

“She is.” And BOOM – the Bellarke crowd goes wild. (I, a part of that crowd, mind you.) So who’s still alive? I’m surprised that I am. What’s even more surprising is that I’m actually finding words for this review, for this latest episode of The 100, was probably the most heart-stopping. Am I right, […]

Fan Theory: Are Black Widow and Captain America Romantically Involved in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’?

Christine Cenon 5
(WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS.) Okay. You guys saw it, too, right? A lot went down in Avengers: Infinity War, yes, but take one moment to think back to that one specific scene, where Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner catch sight of each other for the first time in three years. Are you remembering? Now, do you […]

‘The 100’ 5.2 Recap and Review: Red Queen

Christine Cenon 0
Welcome to my first ever episode review of The 100! All right, now that I’ve gotten THAT out of the way … Is it too early to say that this season is the best yet? Well, too late, I’ve already said it … and it’s damn true. This episode had everything that is so good […]

‘Supergirl’ 3.15 Recap and Review: In Search of Lost Time

Christine Cenon 0
Okay, can I just say that this episode was SO GOOD? Well … for the most part. Let’s start this review off with an admission: As of Monday evening, I’ve jumped the Guardiancorp ship. It’s not that I don’t support it. I mean, I shipped it. But on Monday, I realized how forced James and […]

‘Supergirl’ 3.14 Recap and Review: Schott Through the Heart

Christine Cenon 0
Can I just say: FINALLY. After a grueling, nine-week hiatus, Supergirl is back – and how did they return? In super style, of course! The opening and closing scenes were perfect bookends, with Kara and Co. singing KARAoke (heh heh, get it?). They’re such a musical bunch irl – I bet they just had to […]

‘The Resident’ 1.5 Recap and Review: None the Wiser

Christine Cenon 0
After a three-week hiatus, The Resident has returned, and it’s bolder than anything we’ve seen previously. This week’s episode was probably one of the best, if not THE best, episode so far in the series. Medical drama television programs can often feel contrived, but The Resident excels in its fresh and balanced storytelling, and this […]

‘The Resident’ 1.4 Recap and Review: Identity Crisis

There was heart-stopping drama at Chastain Park this week, both figuratively and literally. I’ve never been more nervous while watching a … drama before … I had to pause the episode two separate times to take calming breaths. It gets intense, I tell you. Nonetheless, it’s some good drama. The first couple of minutes alone […]

‘Supergirl’ 3.13 Recap and Review: Both Sides Now

Christine Cenon 0
What. An. Episode. What am I supposed to do with my life now that Supergirl will be on a two-month hiatus? I still have so many questions, and my feelings … what am I supposed to do with my feelings? Am I supposed to turn them off or something? How does one even do that? […]

‘The Resident’ 1.3 Recap and Review: Comrades in Arms

At many hospitals, it is routine these days to collect patients’ payments and insurance submittals up front, before further treatment is administered. According to a senior vice president at the Healthcare Financial Management Association, approximately three-quarters of healthcare and hospital systems are implementing a point-of-service collection model that asks patients for payment at the time […]

‘Supergirl’ 3.12 Recap and Review: For Good

Christine Cenon 0
Although the concept of “fandom” has been in existence since the digital age, it is no doubt that the rise of the World Wide Web had erected an entirely new level of participatory culture. As a result, with the progression of technology, it is easier to see and spread negativity. Similar to any other television […]

‘The Resident’ 1.1 and 1.2 Recap and Review: Pilot and Independence Day

Christine Cenon 0
From the very first scene, you already know that The Resident is going to be a very different kind of medical drama. Dr. Randolph Bell (Bruce Greenwood), the Chief of Surgery, is a celebrity of sorts at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. The scene shows him operating on a patient – just a simple appendectomy, a […]
