Robert Pattinson Calls Fandom ‘Like A Virus’

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson hasn’t had a break from all the fan attention. In fact, the actor recently commented at a fan party in London that the fandom was ‘like a virus.’

“We went to Japan earlier on in the year. There wasn’t that much of a reaction, but last week when we went again, it suddenly exploded, the same as here. I don’t know how, it just explodes so quickly. It takes seven months to take hold, it’s like a virus.”

Pattinson’s co-star Taylor Lautner also weighed in on the topic saying, “I’m stunned – I knew it was going to be good, but this is amazing. The fans in London are surprising me. It’s amazing to know we have this support behind us. It makes us feel like we’re at home.”

  1. Yeah that is a good way Rob put it…. When Twilight first came out a lot of ppl at the theaters were like what’s this? even young teenage girls they probably never even bothered picking up the books before it was even show on theaters… but as soon as it was watched on the theaters it turned into TwilightMania.. I’m sure they read the books then…
