Kacey Musgraves Suffered Wardrobe Malfunction at 2014 CMAs

Kacey Musgraves went commando as she stepped onstage to perform with veteran entertainer Loretta Lynn at the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night after her stick-on panties fell off.

Musgraves changed out of her red carpet outfit into a shimmering silver dress with sheer panels running down one side ahead of the surprise duet at the Nashville, Tennessee ceremony, but the star reveals she suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction moments before she was due to step into the spotlight with one of her heroes.

She explains, “My panties fell off right before… They were the stick-on kind… They were dangling, I had to rip them off – my whole band saw me – and I had to throw them to the side and then out she (Lynn) comes… I don’t know where they are.

Despite the underwear issue, Musgraves had a good night – she walked away with the Song of the Year award for “Follow Your Arrow”.
