Nicholas Brendon Arrested Again at Florida Convention

Nicholas Brendon has been arrested for allegedly trashing a hotel room, just a month after his last brush with police.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was detained in Tallahassee, Florida on Friday while he was in the area to attend a comic convention.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ.com, Brendon called the cops claiming his wallet had been stolen, and when officers arrived, they saw he had allegedly caused damage to his room.

He was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief, and later released on $1,000 bail.

Speaking after his release, the actor revealed he had suffered a “black out” after coming off medication he was taking to treat depression, telling Tallahassee.com, “I’ve been dealing with depression for a while, since I was a kid, and so I stopped taking my… meds a while ago… And it culminated yesterday into my taking some new pills and going into a black out. A lot of it has to do with my coming to terms with the stuff that I’m having to deal with inside of my head… It’s something I’m struggling with… I need to go back to my doctor and talk to him…”

Brendon previously had a brush with police while attending a convention in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in February, when he was arrested at a hotel on suspicion of felony grand theft, while he was also arrested in October 2014 amid allegations he caused a disturbance at a hotel in Idaho.
