‘Veronica Mars’ Alum Kristen Bell to Make ‘iZombie’ Voice Cameo

The Veronica Mars alum of all Veronica Mars alums is headed to iZombie.

Kristen Bell, who will forever live on in the hearts of Marshmallows everywhere as the brilliantly snarky Veronica Mars, is teaming back up with her old boss Rob Thomas to lend her voice to iZombie in season two’s episode, “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter”. The episode will air on January 26 and will follow Liv as she bites into the mind of a murdered librarian who dabbled in writing erotic fiction as well.

iZombie star Rose McIver broke the news about Bell’s upcoming cameo via video saying, “I have something very exciting to announce. In episode 2.11 of CW’s iZombie, it’s called ‘Fifty Shades of Grey Matter,’ we have a voice cameo by the one and only Kristen Bell.”

No further details about Bell’s role are currently available, but the actress has plenty of VO experience. She provided the voiceovers for Veronica Mars and was the voice of Gossip Girl, in addition to one of her biggest roles, as Princess Anna in Frozen.

Bell joins the growing list of Veronica Mars alums to have stopped by iZombie including Adam Rose, Ryan Hansen, Percy Daggs III, Daran Norris, and David Starzyk.

Head on over to Entertainment Weekly to watch McIver make the exciting announcement.
