Cheap Trick – Live at Budokan
This is another classic album from the late 70’s that I kept on repeat quite a bit – ‘Cheap Trick at Budokan’, the live album recorded by Cheap Trick that was released in 1978.
I have seen the band many times since then and they definitely are one of the best bands to see perform live in my opinion.
The first time I actually heard anything by Cheap Trick was from an obscure little unknown film called , ‘#Over the Edge’, in which they played the song ‘Surrender’, which just happens to be one of my favs. I knew had I to look more into this band.
Needless to say, it is a great classic rock album and their version of the classic song, ‘Ain’t that a Shame’ is amazing.
When you have an album that has that song, followed by ‘I Want You to Want Me’ then ‘Surrender’, you cannot go wrong. The guitar riffs, drum solos and vocals are excellent.
