Worst Ending: St. Elsewhere, a wonderful 1980’s NBC hour long drama about a rundown teaching hospital in Boston that starred Ed Begley Jr., Christina Pickles, Howie Mandel, David Morse, Mark Harmon and Denzel Washington. The last show ended with the idea that the show was all made-up in the head of a autistic teenager who had a snow globe with the hospital inside it.

Wow! I remember the show, but never really watched it, though I remember it because of the cast. Sounds like a horrible ending indeed.

LOL ? were really dating our self here as I also remember the show.
Another to date the land of the lost. Given if i remember they never got home.
Star crossed only gave one season and left you hanging.
The same with the secret circle, Hellcats , life unexpected. Forever. All good shows but left you hanging with no second season to follow through.

Life Unexpected did have two seasons (both were short 13 episode seasons) and did air a finale at the end of the second season. You get to see who everyone ended up with in the future. Great show.

I think ‘Mash’ ended really well but the worst was definitely ‘Seinfeld.’ Such a brilliant show and to end like that was unbelievable.

I thought Burn Notice had a great ending. It comes full circle with the ending being him telling his nephew the story of what would be the entire series you just got through watching. Kind of hard to explain if you haven’t seen it
Worst ending (controversial) is Game of Thrones. Seriously. This is from somebody that has read the books twice it made no sense. They threw away so many story lines and started things that never played out. It drove me mad. I got rid of my blu-ray set when the series ended because I knew I would never watch it again

I’m watching Game of Thrones all the way through, but I may skip the finale for that reason. Especially since it’s already been spoiled for me.
