‘Where’s Stephanie? A Story of Love Faith & Courage’
What a great little book ‘Where’s Stephanie? A Story of Love Faith and Courage’ is by Lenora Livingston. It truly is a quick read, only 140+ pages, but it packs such a touching story into a few words. The story is about a woman whose son gets his teenage girlfriend pregnant and loses his parental rights and his daughter is put up for adoption. Upset yet determined to see her again some day, she leaves clues in her adopted granddaughter’s file, in hopes that one day she will follow the clues back to her. I won’t give the remainder of the story away but will say it is amazing. This is a true story and the author has adapted it into a screenplay that has won many awards over the past couple of years. I have had the pleasure of personally talking to the author and she is a lovely woman. This is one novel I can’t wait to see translated onto the big screen.
