    ‘Mother and Child’ Review: A Lover of Women, Maybe…

    The three lead characters of Rodrigo García’s, Mother and Child, played by Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington, and Annette Bening, have some something rarely seen in females on screen – depth. In an industry dominated by men, the heroine’s arc is usually relegated to a supporting character. As Washington said in an interview with this site, in reference to the typical female roles in film, “[women] usually get to hold the hand of the people going through the massive transformation.”

    DVD Review: Avatar

    If you’ve seen a couple movies in your life, you at least know who James Cameron is. The Hollywood directing tycoon that brought you Terminator, Aliens, True Lies, and Titanic. His films have earned a couple billion dollars. That doesn’t happen making average films. Cameron will direct these big budget films up until the day he goes to his grave. Don’t count on him to hang up his talent anytime soon.
