The Breakdown of Warrior Cat Names
A warrior cat name has two parts to its name. You’ll want to pick a prefix for your cat. Generally, this has something to do with either the cat’s appearance (white, spotted, striped, etc..) or something related to nature (rose, storm, fire, etc…).
From here, you’ll pick a suffix to complete the name. You’ll want to use something that matches the first part of your name. For example, if you picked “Storm” the last part might be “cloud”.
Some suffixes also have a deeper meaning. For example, “kit” means a young cat, and “paw” is an apprentice. Need something a bit more front and center? “Star” means leader.
If the cat doesn’t have a clan, then you can stick with just the first part of their name, which is a bit more traditional approach (Charlie, Lucy, Leo, Milo, etc…).
