‘Fright Night’ Remake Gets Director
According to reports, the negotiations are complete and Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl) has been hired to direct the remake of ‘Fright Night’. Dreamworks has also hired Marti Noxon (Mad Men) to update the script. ‘Fright Night’ is the story of a teenager who learns a vampire has moved into the house next door. The teen then hires a local horror movie host to help slay the creature before it can claim his girlfriend.
As a side note: If you have not seen the original ‘Fright Night’ check it out. Worth the watch. I think it still holds up today and Roddy McDowell is great at Peter Vincent!
