Patricia Arquette and the cast of Boyhood are begging director Richard Linklater to make a sequel that will follow the stars through the rest of their lives.
The Golden Globe-winning filmmaker spent 12 years making his acclaimed movie and now his leading ladies and men want to pick up where they left off.
Arquette, who picked up a Best Supporting Actress Globe for her portrayal of a single mom in the drama, tells WENN, “We keep trying to pressure Rick. I kept lobbying last year, like, ‘This is not a 12 year movie, this is a 20 year movie’.
“This is the movie that ends when mom turns 80 or 90 and dies. I think that’s when the movie ends. You could make an 80-year-long movie. Wouldn’t that be amazing?”
