‘Hereafter’ DVD/Blu-Ray Proceeds Going To Japan Relief

Warner Bros already pulled Hereafter from Japanese theaters due to the fact it depicts a tsunami, but they’ve also announced that proceeds from the film would go to the relief effort.

A specific charity wasn’t mentioned by the studio, but a $1 million donation to the Japanese Red Cross is likely.

The film’s director, Clint Eastwood, commented: “The devastation and loss Japan is facing is almost incomprehensible. I’m glad to join Warner Bros. in this effort to help the Japanese people.”
