‘Twilight’ Star Ashley Greene’s Nude Photo Scandal

Early Monday, nude photos of Ashley Greene leaked onto the internet. The photos vanished almost as quickly as they appeared on top blog websites. Greene’s lawyers released the following statement, “The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed. Our client intends to take legal action.”

Several sites have speculated that the release of the photos may have not been an accident at all – but a simple Hollywood marketing technique to get Greene’s name out there. With all the attention focused on ‘Twilight’ co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – it’s possible that this was Greene’s way of also stepping into the spotlight.

Greene, who plays Alice in the ‘Twilight’ saga, won a Teen Choice Award just this last Sunday night for “Fresh Face Female” which was only 1 of the 11 awards snagged by the cast of the film.

We don’t want to believe that Ashley did this on purpose. We think she’s far too much of a sweetheart to do that. What do you guys think?

  1. Unless the photos were taken with a hidden camera, she is at least partly responsible for their existence. I’m amazed when I hear of young people taking nude photos of themselves and their friends and sending them around by phone or e-mail. You don’t have to be famous for someone to use those photos to embarrass you.

  2. as far as I can tell… she is 22… so I don’t see how these would be illegal, but I can see why she would say they were posted unlawfully…

  3. The most troubling question is who took thoes photos and did she grant them the permission to do so? As there is no mention of these photos being fakes…so I don’t know what to think? But rather this is a publicity stunt or not, I assume she has more respect for herself as a person to pull something like this and sell her self short.
