Retro Platformer Another Castle Kickstarter Announced for Wii U, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, & OUYA
Kickstarter is starting to become a popular place for video games on the Nintendo Wii U. Only a few days after Super Ubi Land kickstater was announced, a new game for the Wii U and other platforms has been announced. Say hello to Another Castle, a retro platformer similar to Super Mario Bros. The concept behind the game is that the item you are seeking, whether it be a princess or a ice cream sandwich, is always in another castle, hence the game’s name. The game features a unique retro design and randomly generated levels to help ensure each playthrough is different and fun.
If the game meets it’s goal of $12,000 by March 29th, 2013 the game will be fully funded. If fully funded, the game will be coming out for the Nintendo Wii U eShop, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and OUYA. Right now, as I am writing this article, the kickstarter campaign has currently accumulated a little over $1,500. The game is currently scheduled to come out sometime next year.
