Amanda Bynes Facing Legal Issues

Amanda Bynes is facing a court battle with a lawyer who alleges the embattled actress owes him $16,000 in fees for looking after her while she struggled with personal issues.

The Hairspray star is said to have hired Artemio Santiago while she was a patient at a psychiatric hospital and he claims to have run errands for her as well as helping with her legal troubles.

Court documents obtained by TMZ.com show Santiago is seeking $16,000 in fees.

Bynes has battled a string of legal and mental health issues in recent years, and has endured several stints in hospital and in rehab, while her parents took control of her affairs after being granted a conservatorship in 2014.

All has been fairly quiet in the drama department from Amanda lately, so let’s hope this new allegation doesn’t set her back at all.
