3D ‘Titanic’ Gets a Release Date

According to reports the 3D re-release of ‘Titanic’ is coming. The film will open in April of 2012, which will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the real Titanic. ‘Titanic’ was released in 1997, and won 11 Oscars. The film made over $600 million in the US, and a total of $1.8 billion worldwide.

  1. I guess if they can afford it then go for. I just dont see it being number one at the box office again due to 3D technology…im sure a lot of people will go see it regardless, I just dont think ill be one of them. Thanks for the info jmcharries, you know due to lack of desktop im behind on my movie news, I was waiting on this one!
