‘Empire’ Co-Creator Lee Daniels Holds Nothing Back in Response to Emmys Snub

Everyone knows Empire‘s co-creator Lee Daniels isn’t one to mince words. He held true to that today, expressing his feelings about the hit FOX series Emmy snub.

The show earned three nominations total, including a Best Actress nom for Taraji’s role as the incomparable Cookie Lyon, but failed to garner a nomination in the Outstanding Drama category, which many, including Daniels, were surprised about. After the producer congratulated his lead and everyone else involved who received noms, he took to social media to tell the world how he REALLY feels.

With series star Jussie Smollett in tow, Daniels posted a video to Instagram, laughing with his Smollett about being “politically correct” on social media.

“Jussie says I have to be politically correct on Instagram,” jokes Daniels, moments before unleashing a couple of f-bombs…”F–k these motherf–kers!”

Well alright then sir!
