According to reports, Jason Richmond (Rush Hour 3) has been hired to write the script for New Line/Warner Bros.’ big screen version of ‘MacGyver’. ‘MacGyver’ ran on ABC from 1985-1992 and starred Richard Dean Anderson a resourceful secret agent who uses ingenious, science-inspired trickery to escape danger. ‘MacGyver’ became a part of pop culture, and inspired the SNL spoof ‘MacGruber’, which is now out in theaters.
