Bruce Campbell Returns To ‘Evil Dead’ But Not As Ash

While Bruce Campbell will have a cameo in the remake of Evil Dead, the character of Ash Williams will not be involved. Bruce Campbell himself confirmed this on his Twitter account tweeting the following:

“No Ash character currently.”

“Last statement: ED remake is a re-telling. All bets are off & all involved love the new approach.”

The new Evil Dead will be helmed by short film director Fede Alvarez, who will work from a script rewritten by Diablo Cody (Juno).
