Theatrical Releases for January 27th: ‘Grey,’ And ‘Man On A Ledge’ Hit Theaters

Declaration of War (NR), Drama – Follows a new couple who must face the ultimate test when they discover their newborn child is very ill. Gathering their friends and family together, they confront the ordeal together as a form of warfare. Stars Valrie Donzelli and Jeremie Elkaim.

Lula, Son of Brazil (NR), Drama – A working class boy moves to the financial capital of Brazil and becomes one the most influential politician in Brazil’s history.

Man on a Ledge (PG-13), Thriller – An ex-con makes a desperate and life-threatening move to prove his innocence after he is framed for the theft of a rare, prized diamond. With nowhere else to go, he climbs onto the ledge of a towering skyscraper, inviting the eyes of New York City to anxiously watch as one wrong step could mean plunging to his death. Stars Sam Worthington, Anthony Mackie, and Jamie Bell.

One for the Money (PG-13), Action-Comedy – Desperate for some fast cash, a Jersey Girl turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company as a bounty hunter. She takes on the biggest bail-jumper: a former vice cop and murder suspect who also seduced and dumped her back in high school. Stars Katherine Heigl, Jason O’Mara, and Sherri Shepherd.

Grey (R) ,Thriller – An unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks must fight to survive when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt before their time runs out. Stars Liam Neeson, Dallas Roberts, and Dermot Mulroney.

The Wicker Tree (R), Horror – Follows two evangelists from Texas who visit Scotland to spread the gospel. They encounter a local man practicing ancient magic with sinister motives. Stars Brittania Nicol, Henry Garrett, and Graham McTavish.
