Synopsis
HOUSEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2023, where it won the Queer Lion Award. Written and directed by Australian-Macedonian filmmaker Goran Stolevski (YOU WON’T BE ALONE, OF AN AGE). HOUSEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS has screened at a number of other key international and North American film festivals. It is North Macedonia’s submission for the Oscars.
HOUSEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS, set in Northern Macedonia, provides a beautiful insight into the challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community and the love and resourcefulness that drives this unusual family. The movie stars Anamaria Marinca, known for her critically acclaimed performance in 4 MONTHS, 3 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS.

Hey Everyone! The studio is actually moving the release date of this one to April 5. We will still be having this screening – but it will be moved to sometime during that week.
