A ‘True Lies’ TV Show in the Works

James Cameron is planning to develop and produce a TV series based off of the 1994 film, ‘True Lies’. Cameron will work with Rene Echevarria, the creator of ‘The 4400’. In the film, Arnold Schwarzenegger played Harry Tasker, a regular guy leading a double life as a top-level spy. When he learns that his unknowing wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) is unsatisfied with their life together and is planning on having an affair, Tasker accidentally pulls her into his secret battle against Middle Eastern terrorists.

‘True Lies’ made $378.8 million worldwide off of a budget of $115 million.
