Radiohead Approve In Rainbows On iTunes
RADIOHEAD has had a controversial change of mind – by allowing music download service iTunes to sell their new album IN RAINBOWS.
The band stunned the record business last year (Oct07) by releasing In Rainbows as a digital download and allowing customers to choose their own price
– but the band previously refused to allow its back catalog to appear on iTunes.
In Rainbows can be downloaded for $16 (#7.99), with individual tracks available for $1.60 (#0.79) – a move which is in stark contrast to Radiohead’s earlier protestations their albums should be considered as complete works rather than individual entities.
