FOX Developing A ‘Punisher’ TV Show

Marvel’s popular anti-hero is getting a TV show. Fox is developing a TV show adaptation of The Punisher with Criminal Minds ex-showrunner Edward Allen Bernero.

In the TV show version, Frank Castle will be an NYPD detective by day and the Punisher by night, writing the wrongs that he legally can’t.

The character has had three film adaptations and is the fourth Marvel Universe project currently in development for TV. The others are a series based on the Hulk, Cloak and Dagger and AKA Jessica Jones. The latter is based on Brian Michael Bendis’ Alias.
