Emma Watson, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo to Be Honored at Britannia Awards
The Avengers co-stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Mark Ruffalo will be among the stars honored at the upcoming Britannia Awards in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood stars will be feted alongside Brits Mike Leigh, Dame Judi Dench and Emma Watson at BAFTA Los Angeles’ 23rd annual gala on October 30.
Downey, Jr. will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film, Ruffalo will pick up the Britannia Humanitarian Award for his work with Water Defense, a non-profit charity he co-founded to keep waterways and drinking water clean, moviemaker Leigh will be the recipient of the 2015 John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing, and Dench will receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.
Harry Potter star Watson, who recently spoke to spoke to Uruguay’s Parliament about the United Nations’ HeForShe program, will be named the British Artist of the Year at the gala.
